Discrete-time Variable Structure Control Systems - Multivariable Linear Plant Case - Udc 62-52

چکیده
Linear time-invariant discrete digital plant, with no restrictions on the form of the state equation and the number of controls, is considered. The stabilizing state feedback control algorithm is developed by Lyapunov's second method leading to the variable structure system with sliding modes. Essentially the control algorithm drives the system from an arbitrary initial state to a prescribed so-called sliding subspace S, in finite time. Inside the sliding subspace S the system is switched to the sliding mode regime and stay in it for ever.

Discrete Variable Structure Control for Linear Multivariable Systems: the Output Feedback Case Discrete Variable Structure Control for Linear Multivariable Systems: the Output Feedback Case
This paper presents an observer-based discrete variable structure controller for linear multi-variable systems with unmatched additive uncertainties, an extension of the results reported in Tang and Misawa (1998) to the output feedback case. It is shown that the incorporation of a prediction observer with uncertainty estimation into the controller guarantees the attractiveness and invariance of...

This paper presents a state feedback discrete variable structure controller for linear multi-variable systems with unmatched additive uncertainties, a generalization of the controller for single-input systems by Misawa (1997). It is shown that the controller guarantees the attractiveness and invariance of the boundary layer. In contrast to existing schemes, it utilizes one sliding hyperplane re...
متن کاملPotentials of Evolving Linear Models in Tracking Control Design for Nonlinear Variable Structure Systems
Evolving models have found applications in many real world systems. In this paper, potentials of the Evolving Linear Models (ELMs) in tracking control design for nonlinear variable structure systems are introduced. At first, an ELM is introduced as a dynamic single input, single output (SISO) linear model whose parameters as well as dynamic orders of input and output signals can change through ...
متن کاملOptimal Finite-time Control of Positive Linear Discrete-time Systems
This paper considers solving optimization problem for linear discrete time systems such that closed-loop discrete-time system is positive (i.e., all of its state variables have non-negative values) and also finite-time stable. For this purpose, by considering a quadratic cost function, an optimal controller is designed such that in addition to minimizing the cost function, the positivity proper...

This paper proposes an Intelligent Linear Parameter Varying (ILPV) control approach for multivariable discrete Linear Time Varying (LTV) systems. An optimal linear quadratic closed loop control law is developed for each identified multivariable model so that the controlled system tracks a desired trajectory over the entire time interval. A gain scheduling adaptive control scheme based on neural...
